so now its all like, 'extreme' sports

i printed out my porposal
i gave it to ben and brandon/seth
i looked at mikes proposal
i complained to ringold that my laptod sucks
we then held a conversation about my life and bands and sell outs and mr. smalls and ska music and sell outs and anit-flah and some other random local band that was famous then crashed and burned

blah, iv been thinking about changing my topic
to something less complex
but i can't really think of anything
plus
im too lazy to re do all the crap
xD

here is my porposal


I currently plan on doing my graduation project on the sport of Parkour, also known as free running and being a ninja. Currently I have not done too much research because I have been focusing on doing the given assignments in this class. Some things I do know about it is that you need to be in good shape and it takes around five years to train for it. Also, the equipment is really basic, all you need is a pair of shoes with good traction and clothes that are loose enough that you can freely move in, yet won’t be so loose they fall off. By doing further research I plan on learning how to perform tricks in Parkour and different ways and techniques of doing said tricks and possible even attempt it.

Like I stated in the previous paragraph, I would like to learn different tricks and techniques of the sport of Parkour. My point is to teach others about this ‘extreme’ sport so that others could learn and love it. I would also like to be able to assist organizing a Parkour event because they are not very common in the US.

Since this year of our project is mainly doing assignments, I plan to do the majority of my research over break. There for I will have more time to read, understand, take notes, and find more information in a more comfortable setting for myself. Over break I also plan on starting to write my essay, or at least make a detailed outline, which means I plan on having my interview done by then. Once I am done with that, I believe that it would be an appropriate time to start on my action plan.

Since I am currently unsure what I will be doing for my action plan, I am not exactly sure on what I will need. I know that I will need a computer so I can look up some more resources and type up and outline and rough draft. If I plan to make a “how to video” I would need a camera, a tripod, a fire wire, and my laptop or access to another computer with Adobe premiere pro from the CS 3 or CS4 collection [or another system similar to it]. I would also need to find someone willing to teach me and someone else to man the camera. If I do a ‘meeting’ type thing I would need access to a computer and a printer so that I could put out a notification on http://parkour.meetup.com and print up flyers and hang them up places so that people could be informed about the event. I would also need a area for it to be at.

I am hoping that my project will look how it needs to be, which at this point I’m not entirely sure how that is supposed to be. All I know is that I would like it to be complete and professionally done. I would also wish that it would be interesting so that people would like to go back and look at what I have done, and so that I would be proud of it in the end.

I believe that this should be my graduation project because I have put in a lot of thought and work into it, as well as being committed to it. The reason I say that I am committed to it is because I re-did some of the assignments because I changed my topic, in the middle of the trimester from something else to parkour. And the most important reason that I think I should be able to do this is because I find it interesting, and I thought that the point of this project [besides to graduate from city high] is to learn about something that we are interested in it.

i did my pre- write proposal thing
and turned it in
but
i got it back because it wasn't typed
and for some odd reason i need to have a copy because there is no such thing as grading a paper then giving it back when i need it then me giving it back
so, i felt that typing it up, and re-doing my assiginment would put me father behind than i already am

i also put some more resources in my works cited thing
printed that out
and prinited out another source, even though i think i already did
i rather have it twice than not at all

i forgot what else i was going to talk about because ringold started talking to me
so, i guess over half of this is irrelevant
but, i can't work with people around me

OH YEA!
i am going to take the 4million pages of my work cited home and write as i read my resources then type it up later
and BAM!!! you can cross that off the list!
